A mature, lived-experience approach to psychotherapy where your resilience begins.
I launched WeCare to be the support I once needed: a secure, understanding environment where you are truly heard by someone who has successfully navigated a difficult path.

My Story: Wisdom Born from Experience
At WeCare Counselling and Psychotherapy, my foundation is built on more than just professional training—it is built on lived experience.
I am an accredited member of the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapistsa (MIACP) andI the focus is delivering high-quality counselling and psychotherapy. My commitment is to support every client as they navigates their unique path. I offer a compassionate and confidential space where your story is heard and respected, empowering you to overcome obstacles and enhance your quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.
Having navigated my own journey through difficult attachment styles and personal hurdles, I have developed a deep, intuitive empathy. I know what it feels like to struggle with trust and vulnerability. This personal transformation is the bedrock of my practice; I don’t just understand the theory of healing—I understand the journey

A Unique Approach: Expertise Meets Empathy
What distinguishes my practice is the blend of mature wisdom and clinical expertise. I hold a Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University, but I treat every session as a human-to-human connection rather than a clinical transaction.

How I Can Help: My Therapeutic Approach
I believe that while your past may have shaped you, it does not have to define you. Together, we create a non-judgmental space to explore your challenges using a "multi-modal" toolkit tailored specifically to you.
I recognise the interconnectedness of issues like trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship problems to substances and behavioural addictions My specialised training in addiction counselling allows for a deeper understanding of how substance abuse and behavioural addictions often serve as coping mechanisms to deal with daily life problems. We work together to tailor our work to your specific needs, using a range of theoretical approaches. Also, a blend of empathy, congruence, and this expertise in different counselling theories and psychoeducation offers an effective path to understanding your difficulties and results in confidence building, improved self esteem and decision making.

Counselling
My services are specifically designed for those who feel "stuck" in patterns they can't quite break alone. You will find a home here if you are navigating:
• Trauma & PTSD: Safely processing childhood abuse, neglect, or traumatic life events.
• Relational Struggles: Healing from workplace bullying, relationship toxicity, or attachment issues.
• Addiction & Coping: Addressing the underlying emotional pain that leads to substance or behavioral dependencies.
• Personal Growth: Even without a "diagnosis," if you are seeking a deeper understanding of yourself or help with a major life transition, this space is for you.
The Benefit: Why Choose WeCare?
The goal of our work isn’t just to "fix" a problem, but to build a more resilient version of you. Clients who work with me often report:
• Increased Self-Esteem: Moving from a place of self-doubt to self-acceptance.
• Emotional Regulation: Learning relaxation techniques and coping skills that work in the real world.
• Clarity: Gaining the "psychoeducation" needed to understand why you feel the way you do, which is the first step toward lasting change.
